So, my son, the picture of modesty, flashed us again on the sonogram today. :) Barring the unexpected, we are still having a boy. Happily he is pointed the right way (head down) and is even facing the right way (his nose is pointing to my spine) so, everything is looking good. My doc said there is only a 5% chance that he'd flip at this point. I've put on 6 more lbs in a week and a half, so it will be interesting to see what I am weighing next week. Blood pressure was normal, though my feet and hands are still puffy at times. What is also exciting is that I'm apparently 70% effaced. Doc gives me a few more weeks, but thought we should definitely get the bag packed just in case. So I guess you could say things are progressing as expected. I'm apparently measuring 'big' but the doc thinks that is uterine wall more than baby. I say it's my organs being pressed up into my diaphragm. So next week we will be seeing the doc wednesday, and then ever week until the baby is here.
So, since we are in the home stretch, I've added a poll (to the right): when will our baby be born? Poll closes March 23rd. Again, you are playing for the privilege of saying I told you so. :)

I am first vote! So bonus points on top of points if I am right. I say just late enough to make Grandma H. crazy nervous that he won't be there yet when she is. ;) wmw
Hmm, 70%.... :) Well, March 13th, or March 27th or as Wendy said, April 13! It matters not!! Healthy and safe!! We can always play Euchre or Settlement! love, mom h. ps Great attitude there Cat, you will do fine!
Wait! Now that I (unfortunately) know what "effaced" means...why no ability to vote for early arrival? (Delegates being not technically bound to their earlier votes and all, you know.)
Well, I had to have someone tell me I was, so it's really not too bad. Yes, feel free to vote early, vote often. Your guess is as good as mine. :)
Also - my mom has voted for April 1st, just can't get in here to vote, so I'm going to vote for her.
