I am getting excited. It looks like we'll get a chance to travel to PA next month to participate in the Following Gods Call Together event. It's going to mean more traveling and more work, but the chance to really get out there and visit with folks we haven't seen in over a year sounds great. I feel we've been out of touch too long. We're not even really sure how it's all going to work out, but hopefully we get a few chances to eat meals with folks, share where God has been taking us over the last year, how that all ties in to our move Singapore and hear what's been going on with everyone else. We totally get that we are not the only game in town when it comes to missions and or God moving among his people.
I got a chance to hear a pretty cool presentation on Missional Business today at our organization. Basically there is a real need for javascript/php software engineers to review code for businesses that are set up overseas in areas that would be unreachable if the gospel wasn't going in with the business model. Language would be helpful but really they need skilled workers. The work can even be done back in the U.S. without even leaving the states. (fyi - if I just described you, and a small still voice is paging you on your internal intercom system, please email me and I will get you to the appropriate people). I love that God works through gifts. Not all of us are church planters, you know?
