I learned a lot about pregnantlady (TM) clothing. I learned what a roll panel is, how the sizing works, and that most maternity shops and consignment shops do not carry plus sizes. I was pleased to find JCP lets you order sizes online, though they don't care the plus sizes in the stores. There was also places like Lane Bryant, and a couple of web stores, but most of them were much more expensive. I did find this great faq on plus-pregnancy clothing. Very helpful. And I saved time not having to wander the denver metro area looking at clothing that didn't fit. You have to understand, clothing and me have never really gotten along. I have exactly 1 pair of pants that I can wear in public, though I placed some emergency orders at JCP, which will hopefully be here before the weekend. We are off to a baptism in Pittsburgh at the end of the week, and i'd prefer not to have to walk around in capri's the whole time. :P We are of course jazzed about being back in the old town, even if it is just for a few days. I hope that I will be able to eat some of that great food.
While looking around on the web, I found this mom-shops blog which has a bunch of cool kids stuff. While some of it is kind of trendy, some of it is really gosh-darn cute, like this rolly bug she posted:
Cute, no?

Old Navy has plus-size AND maternity-plus online. Much more reasonable, considering it will probably only last the length of the pregnancy anyway. I ordered plus-size XXL shirts (as I know O-N runs small) but it was HUGE. So you may have some trial and error. Best thing though, it's a flat-fee of $5 shipping, no matter how much you order.
I looked at their site but figured they would be small. I've placed an order for another pair of jeans, so here's hoping it will fit.
