We had a good but busy weekend. Last week was the end of mob conference at omf which is short for mobilization conference. It was (as always) a great chance to hear how God is working in East Asia, especially in corners you do not normally hear about. Tobo spent monday with a set of sitters and I'm told did well walking up and down the halls at the office as well as playing on his own. (can you pick out the only child?) That wrapped up for us on Tuesday, which means we had the usual weekly activities. Sat. we had a visit from good friends from the north. Forrest and Janelle were able to escape work and school (first week of the semester) to come and eat, talk and play crazy wii games. Really good to see them and catch up. Today we had church and then this evening we went to the east asia focus night at church. Folks did a nice job putting dinner together and decorating and we had some good speakers and information provided. Hopefully this will bear fruit in prayer and practices. A good start though.
The other big news is Tobo bit someone today. Guess where? nope, not an arm or a hand -- he bit one of the sitter's forehead. Apparently his kisses can turn a bit forceful. I apologize for the marks I saw on her head. Yikes! Child of mine, please don't eat your baby-sitter! :D We also had the first toy we had to put up. I got Tobo one of the ball poppers which caused him to walk a week or so ago. He just gets tearfully frustrated with it because the balls get sucked into the machine and he can't get them back. He really just wants the balls. so we put it up for later.
Now we're pretty beat so off to bed but definitely a good week.
