So today was very busy so no big earth shattering post tonight I think. Started the day off with an all office meeting, which is kind of like a "how are we doing?" kind of meeting than in the secular world. I thought was good and I feel more in step with the rest of the office -- a challenge for the part time/flex time/what time? person like me. The big news though was that my new refurbished macbook pro appeared as I was leaving, so I got to open it up and try to set it up over nap time. Squee. This is the first new laptop in 5 years for me.
It is beautiful, but I'm having trouble getting my old machine to play nice and give me my files. A friend suggested taking the pugnacious siblings in to an apple store and let a tech sort it out, and I think that is a great idea. Once I find time... I also realized I could (and still may) take work with me now that I'm on a reasonably fast platform and do some over the weekend. If only I had been brave and upgraded my CS3 indesign program when I ordered the laptop, there would be no question.
This weekend though, my family is away at a senior high retreat for our church. Paul will be a dorm dad, and I'm heating up food and entertaining tobo. So probably not a lot of time doing that.

So this is my post. I'm off to bed, because I am beat.
