So in a few hours, I'll be driving a couple of teens up to Snow Mountain Ranch. I have so far done nothing to get ready, including dig out the car. I'm not even sure where we're going, but I hope that the drive will be clear as it's 70 degrees outside at the moment. I'll be lodging it with tobo. So now its all the little planning that you never had to worry about when you were just You going away for the weekend.
Do we have milk?
Is there a clean sheet in the travel crib?
Does he even still fit in the travel crib?
Do we have warm clothes?
Do we have toys?
Plus all the things I remember we need to take but will promptly forget as soon as the bag is in front of me.
Did I bring the Bob the builder DVD for emergencies?
Is the tape cassette converter in my car so we can listen to something?
Do I have the infant drops packed?
Did I bring my knitting instructions?
Will I have time to knit?
Its stressful now. It will be fun. I hope that everyone has a good retreat, including us.

And don't forget what we always do: socks, sippy cup, and wipes. My parents regularly stock the above because I never EVER remember to pack them.
